Dialup Modem Access
Because of budget reductions, ACNS will be decommissioning the central modem pool effective September 1, 2009. Please note that this does not impact any existing email accounts you may have through CSU. It only affects the dialup modem pool service previously offered by the University.
Many local and national Internet Access Providers offer both dialup and high-speed (broadband) Internet services. Potential service providers are listed in the yellow pages or in comprehensive listings such as www.theispguide.com.
You are encouraged to find a replacement service provider that will meet your needs over the summer, certainly prior to September 1, 2009. We regret any inconvenience this may cause you.
