Your Email Alias
Undergraduate Students

Faculty, Staff, Associates, and Graduate Students
In addition to getting a free email account with the creation of an eID, Colorado State faculty, staff, associates, and graduate students will also receive a First.Last@colostate.edu email alias.
Your Email Alias
In addition to getting a free email account with the creation of an eID, undergraduate students will receive a First.Last@rams.colostate.edu email alias; while faculty, staff, associates, and graduate students can obtain an alias formatted as First.Last@colostate.edu. This alias will allow you to receive email at an address comprised of your preferred first name, a dot, your last name, and either @colostate.edu (e.g. John.Doe@colostate.edu) or @rams.colostate.edu (e.g. John.Doe@rams.colostate.edu). It is important to note that this is not an email account itself, but rather it is an email address alias that will automatically forward mail to the email account specified in a person's eID, even if that email account isn't on a Colorado State University server. Users may change the first part of their First.Last alias (e.g. from Jonathan.Doe to John.Doe) using the link below.
