DreamSpark is a program through which Microsoft is giving its software developer and design tools directly to students at no charge. A few of the software titles currently available include Visual Studio Pro, Expression Studio and Windows Server Standard Edition.

Click on the "Sign In" green box in the top right corner. A login form will appear.
Below the login form, select "Create an Account". This will take you to a new page.

Complete the "Create a DreamSpark Account" form.
E-mail Address: Use your preferred email address. It does not need to be your CSU email address.
Institution/School: Type in and Select "Colorado State University". Be sure to select the one for Fort Collins.
Activation Code: Leave blank.
ISIC Card: Leave blank.
Password: Use any secure password you like. Should not be your EID password.
Click "continue to verify" to proceed to the next page.

Enter your CSU provided email. This will most likely be your eid@rams.colostate.edu email address.
Click "Verify". You should receive an email at your CSU provided email from Microsoft Academic Verification.
Click the link in this email to verify your account.

Once you have completed the registration and verification you can download your software. There should no longer
be an orange "Get Verified" button next to the download button. Enjoy.
