Automatic response is triggered by various phished/hacked account activities via monitoring tools.
When various monitoring alerts to a hacked or phished account, teams work together to minimize disruption, reset credentials as needed, and educate the user about best practices in email/computer safety.
Who Can Request This Service:
This service is invoked automatically on any CSU account holder as needed
- Request this service: If you suspect an email is a phishing attempt or is from a hacked account; do not open any attachments or follow any links! Use the instructions at help.mail.colostate.edu/tt_O365_junk_email_settings to alert email@example.com of your concerns.
- Users (or their subnet manager, or their college) will be contacted as needed.
