Off-Campus Network Access

• Secure remote access to the CSU network is provided by the GlobalProtect secure gateway (also called SSL VPN).
• For security reasons, many of the resources on the CSU network are blocked from the Internet at the border router. CSU faculty, staff, students, and associates may gain access to these blocked resources by connecting using the Secure Gateway. More information on Border Router Filtering.
• Connecting to CSU through the web using gateway.colostate.edu or through the GlobalProtect desktop agent/client requires second factor authentication with Duo. For more information and to register devices please see our page on Two Factor Authentication.
